Dr. Stephen C Tadolini has conducted research, consulted, and solved complex ground control issues for 45 years. He worked as a Principal Investigator at US Bureau of Mines until closure, then served as Technology Manager and Principal for Excel Mining Systems and Australian National Industries (ANI). He later returned to NIOSH as Branch Chief, Ground Control Division. After his retirement, he accepted a position as VP of Technology & Technical Services at Minova USA Inc, a global supplier of ground support products for mining, tunneling, and civil industries, where he worked for 18 years. He holds BS and MSCE degrees in Civil and Geotechnical engineering from University of Colorado and PhD in Mining Engineering from West Virginia University. Steve has authored and co-authored over 70 technical publications and has been awarded several US and International patents. He was presented with the Syd & Felicia Peng Ground Control in Mining Award in 2014.
