AIME Champion H. Mathewson Award in
2026
Jérémy Rame is Head of the Materials Department at NAAREA, where he leads R&D on innovative materials and processes for molten salt reactor technology. Before joining NAAREA, he spent eight years at Safran, developing advanced single-crystal superalloys for next-generation aerospace engines. His work combined metallurgy with digital tools such as thermodynamic modeling and big data analysis. As a project leader and expert engineer, he drove materials innovation, process optimization, and industrial validation of nickel-based superalloys. Jérémy holds an engineering degree from Chimie ParisTech and a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Sorbonne Université, conducted in collaboration with ONERA. He is also an active member of the TMS High-Temperature Alloys Committee, contributing to the advancement of materials research and community engagement in this field.
Dr. Dominique Eyidi - Senior Research Engineer at Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), based in Poitiers, France. - Specialized in microstructural characterization techniques: transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray microanalysis (EDS, WDS). Materials include metals, alloys, semiconductors, and ceramics. - 70 publications in peer-to-peer journals as author and co-author. One patent.
Jonathan Cormier is a professor at ISAE-ENSMA focusing on the durability of High-Temperature Materials. He is a specialist in Ni-based superalloys processing/microstructure/mechanical behavior relationships and has authored more than 200 articles. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A since January 2025, after being an editor for 8 years. He was the Program Chair of the 15th International Symposium on Superalloys (Superalloys 2024). He has received several honors and awards, including the FEMS Lecturer Award in 2016, the TMS-FEMS International Fellow in 2018, the TMS-AIME Champion H. Mathewson Award in 2019, the ASM Henry Marion Howe Award in 2023, the Lee Hsun Young Scientist Award in 2024 from the Chinese Academy of Science and the Aerospace Award for the French Academy of Science in 2025.
