Zuma S. Omoregie

AIME Rossiter W. Raymond Memorial Award in
1989

For the paper "Factors Affecting the Equivalency of Different Capillary Pressure Measurement Techniques"

Zuma S. Omoregie is a Senior Petroleum Engineer with Chevron Overseas Petroleum Inc. with reservoir management responsibilities on Chevron's West African fields. Prior to this assignment, he worked from 1985 to 1987 as Senior Reservoir Engineer for Chevron Canada Resources Ltd. designing, monitoring and evaluating a large hydrocarbon miscible flood project. His Chevron career began with Chevron Oil Field Research Company where he worked as a Research Engineer from 1981 to 1985 specializing in alkaline flooding and special core analysis.

Dr. Omoregie received his B.S. and M.S. in 1978 and his Ph.D. in 1981 in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. He has published papers on waterflooding, steam flooding, miscible flooding and core analysis. He is a registered Petroleum Engineer in the state of California.

Dr. Omoregie's paper was published in the March 1988 issue of SPE Formation Evaluation and was done while he was with Chevron Oil Field Research.
