For the paper "The effect of Thermal Cycle on the Microstructural Development of a Powder Metallurgy Superalloy Braze Material"

Ronald G. lacocca is currently director of materials characterization in the P/M Lab at the Pennsylvania State University in the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics. Dr. lacocca received his BS, MS and PhD in materials engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His current research activities include powder characterization techniques. transient and persistent liquid phase sintering, gas atomization of alloys, and novel forming techniques using pressureless methods. He has authored more than thirty papers on materials characterization, the oxidation of composite materials, powder characterization. and the processing of particulate materials.

In addition to his research responsibilities, Dr. lacocca teaches classes on basic engineering materials science, and powder metallurgy in the Department of Engineering Science at Penn State. He is a member of ASM International, TMS, MPIF, The Particle Technology Forum of AIChE, and Alpha Sigma Mu.
