For his outstanding accomplishment in the advancement of technology in comminution and physical separation, and for his leadership, guidance, and mentorship to inspire technical innovation

Erik Spiller is Vice President and Principal Metallurgist with Tetra Tech and Research Professor at the Colorado School of Mines. Erik has more than 40 years of process experience including senior management positions in research, operations, equipment and engineering companies. He has worked on projects and assignments originating in North America and from around the world. At the Colorado School of Mines he lectures in mineral beneficiation especially as related to particulate separation and directs research in mineral processing. He is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines, a MMSA Qualified Professional (QP) as well as an SME Registered QP.
