Anthony G. Moon is director of process engineering for Kennecott Corporation.
He earned his B.Sc. from the Royal School of Mines in London and started with Kennecott at the Chino Mines Division in New Mexico before transferring to the Engineering Center in Salt Lake City. After three years with Fluor Mining and Melals in San Mateo, he returned to Kennecott, where he was responsible for the process design of the Copperton concentrator for Kennecott Utah Copper for the three-line plant and the addition of the fourth line in 1991.
He has served as chair of the Process Control and Crushing and Grinding Committees of SME.
