Ron Lewis is the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of John T. Boyd Company, a leading mining, and geological consultancy. Ron has been with BOYD for over 40 years. He is a recognized expert in the valuation of coal/mineral reserves and operating mining companies with a specialized expertise in the areas of coal/mineral reserve estimation, surface and underground mine analysis, economic assessments, and market analysis. A certified member of the International Institute of Mineral Appraisers. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Ron is a registered professional engineer in Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. He has worked on projects throughout the US and in 12 countries and has authored numerous publications and papers.
