M. A. Adelman is Professor of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has served as a member of numerous committees including: Steering Committee of the M.I.T. Energy Laboratory from 1974 to 1977; American Petroleum Institute Coordinating Committee on Statistics & Economics from 1966 to 1974; the International Oil Crises from 1974 to 1975; and the Gas Research Institute Advisory Council from 1977 to the present. He was the author or co-author of several publications.
