Marvin H. Bayewitz is Research Engineer, Coke-making, Ironmaking and Steelmaking Group, Primary Processes Division, Bethlehem Steel Corporation. He was graduated from the City College of New York with a Bachelor of Engineering and a Masters of Engineering. In 1975 he received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from City College, and received his M.B.A. from Lehigh University in 1986. From 1971 to 1973 he served asa Lecturer at City College. He joined Bethlehem Steel in 1973.
Dr. Bayewitz has co-authored two papers on blast furnace technology and delivered a lecture on blast furnace material and thermal control al the 43rd Ironmaking Conference in 1984. He is a member of the Iron and Steel Society and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
