Dr. Richard Bullock is a retired Mining Engineer consultant. He also served as a Senior Associate with Behre Dolbear & Co., Inc., while teaching three on-line courses per year for the University of Missouri-Rolla, as Professor Emeritus in Mining Engineering. Before that, as the first Endowed Quenon Chair, he taught three to five courses per semester for six and a half years. He has 47 years of experience in the mining industry in management: mineral property feasibility evaluations, mine developments and projects, ongoing mining operations, mining research, and multi-disciplined engineering design groups. He has a strong technical, economic, and operating background, which is why he has been called upon during his career to perform engineering studies, mineral property feasibility, or evaluation on over 250 prospective or operating properties. These properties included underground, as well as open pit and placer properties in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Honduras, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Germany, Ireland, Great Britain, Australia, and China, and included commodities of lead, zinc, iron, copper, tungsten, uranium, gold, silver, platinum, palladium, molybdenum, coal, ilmenite/rutile, chromite sands, fluorspar, trona, and borates. Dr. Bullock has personally traveled through Spain, Portugal, Wales, Cornwall, Scotland, and Italy. He has hands-on experience in every operating mining position from Mine Shift Foreman to Division Manager and Corporate Administrative Positions of Director of Mine Development and Research, Vice President of Engineering and Research, and Project Executive of an 80,000 tpd Copper Project in Chile. He has served on the Corporate Operating Committees of St. Joe Minerals, A.T Massey Coal, Tennessee Consolidated Coal, and Compania Mineria de las Condes, Desputada in Chile. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Purcell Tire and Rubber Company. He earned a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Science and a Doctor of Engineering from MSM/UMR now MST. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Missouri, Nevada, New York, and Tennessee. He is an internationally Certified Qualified Professional in Mining and Ore Reserves evaluations.
