As CEO, Jimmy Brock heads the dynamic team behind CONSOL Energy, a producer and exporter of highBtu thermal and metallurgical coal based in the eastern United States. Together, CONSOL’s purpose-driven team works daily to fuel the world for a better tomorrow.

Jimmy began his mining career in 1979 as a summer student at CONSOL’s Matthews Mine and since then has served at various locations in many positions, including Section Foreman, Longwall Coordinator, Mine Foreman, and Superintendent. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and as a member of CONSOL’s Board since November 2017. He is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University.

In 2016, Jimmy was inducted into the WVU Coal Hall of Fame. He serves on the National Mining Association Executive Committee, as treasurer of the Pennsylvania Coal Alliance, and is on the Board of Directors of America’s Power.
