To honor those who have broken new ground for the rest of us, and to equip those who will take us to new heights in the future, register today for the First Summit on Creating and Sustaining Diversity in the Minerals, Metals, and Materials Professions 1 (DMMM1), July 29–31, at the National Academy of Sciences Building in Washington, D.C.  The event is hosted by TMS and co-sponsored by AIME and SME.  So that all attendees have the fullest opportunity to participate in the interactive elements, attendance will be capped at 300 participants.  

More than just a meeting to discuss issues related to diversity, DMMM1 will provide you with practical skills and actionable strategies for creating a culture of inclusion in your own workplace. You’ll hear from real people in real-world situations about what does and doesn’t work and learn from the experience of others working in a variety of professional environments. Interactive workshop sessions, tailored to the needs of professionals at different phases of their careers, will also give you the opportunity to contribute ideas and perspectives that will shape DMMM1’s final report and a diversity toolkit.
