Staying ahead of the curve throughout his career, John deWardt is an expert in lean manufacturing and the drilling technology landscape. After leaving his position as a lead engineer with Shell and working on drilling rigs in the North Sea, deWardt established his own consulting firm to share his expertise in drilling efficiency and doing more with less. Today, deWardt is active in SPE-DSATS, where he frequently lectures and advises the next generation of engineers. Learn more through his oral history.
