IEEE-USA Online Engineering Video Contest for College Students - Deadline January 18, 2013

AIME's sister society, IEEE-USA, is challenging U.S.. college students to create YouTube videos that reinforce for the 11-to-13-year-old "tween" audience "How Engineers Make a World of Difference." The organization is striving to tap the enthusiasm of  U.S. college students to spark younger students' creativity and ingenuity, and to encourage tweeners' interest in learning about engineering. IEEE-USA also seeks to expand broader public understanding of engineering through the dissemination of these videos in its sixth-annual online video scholarship competition.

 

IEEE-USA will present three scholarship awards; first place ($2,500), second place ($1,500), and third place ($1,000).

 

Entries should be submitted to YouTube by midnight (EDT) on Friday, January 18, 2013. Winning entries will be announced and shown during Engineers Week, February 17-23, 2013.
