Dave Kanagy was brought into his role as executive director of SME during a period of crisis. Yet over the course of his career, he turned the Society’s dwindling membership, poor finances, and disorganized board into the success it is today. As a firm believer in progress, change, and collaboration, Kanagy has left a powerful mark on SME, making it a center of knowledge, community, and innovation in industry.
