Trudi Dunlap
Trudi Dunlap has held numerous positions within TMS since joining the Society’s staff in 1999. Prior to her selection as executive director and chief executive officer, Dunlap held the position of senior director of new initiatives and operational integration. In this role, she directed events, continuing education, membership, volunteerism, awards, customer service, and new initiatives development.
As executive director and chief executive officer, Dunlap manages the development and execution of the Society's programs and supports the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, and other volunteer bodies, inclusive of governance and strategic planning activities. She also supports the efforts of the TMS Foundation as an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees.
Dunlap earned her B.S. in psychology from Geneva College (Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania) and an MBA from Point Park University (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania). She holds a Certified Meeting Professional credential. Her non-materials professional affiliations include ASAE and the Council of Engineering and Scientific Society Executives.
