Marc LeVier served as the Senior Director of Metallurgical Research for Newmont Mining Corporation.  Mr. LeVier built a highly visible, world class team of researchers whose efforts helped rebuild Newmont into the world’s largest gold producer today.  

After retiring from Newmont, Marc served as the CEO, President and Director of several junior rare earth companies.  He continues to consult and advise investors on the critical mineral supply chain today.

Mr. LeVier holds a BS and MS Metallurgical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.  In 2015 the Montana Board of Regents of Higher Education presented Marc with an Honorary Doctor of Science for his leadership and contributions.

He was the 2023 President for the Society of Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration and recognized as an SME Fellow and Legion of Honor Member.  Over the years as an ardent member of SME, Mr. LeVier was recognized with several Presidential citations and the prestigious AIME Douglas Gold Medal.
