AIME Executive Director, Michele Lawrie-Munro, and SME Executive Director, Dave Kanagy, and staff, Tara Davis, AnnMarie Estrada, Georgene Renner, Tim Reagan, and John Hayden congratulated AIME Past Trustee and SME Past President, Ta Li, on receiving the 2015 St. Barbara's Day Award, given in recognition of outstanding contributions to the mining industry.  The annual luncheon is hosted jointly by SME, The Denver Gold Group, and the Colorado Mining Association.  In his introductory speech, Dave Kanagy, said that he believes Ta is the only recipient to have been a President of all 3 organizations.
