Robert T. Wargo is a research consultant in the process technology division of US Steel Research, working in the area of raw materials and waste utilization. A chemical engineering graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he joined US Steel Research in 1978 and since that time has worked with iron-ore characterization, minerals beneficiation, sintering, pelletizing, direct (eduction, and steel-plant waste minimization and recycling.
