Antoine Marc Gaudin (SME)

AIME Mineral Industry Education Award in
1969

"World renown mineral engineer and educator who established the scientific basis for advances in comminution and flotation, and through his books, publications and teaching inspired many to enter the mineral industry."

Antoine Marc Gaudin is the Robert H. Richards Professor of Mineral Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has taught at M.I.T. since 1939.

Professor Gaudin received his bachelor of science degree in France in 1916. He served in the United States Army during World War I and, in 1921, graduated from Columbia University as an Engineer of Mines.
