E. Charles Patton, Jr.

AIME Rossiter W. Raymond Memorial Award in
1948

For the paper "Evaluation of Pressure Maintenance by Internal Gas Injection in Volumetrically Controlled Reservoirs."

Mr. Patton, Petroleum Engineer for the Magnolia Petroleum Company at Dallas, Texas, was born in that city on March 3, 1916. He attended both Southern Methodist University and Texas University, receiving from the latter the degree of B. S. in Petroleum Production. Between school terms he has had practical oil-field experience and he has served as research engineer for the Humble Oil & Refining Company, the Hughes Tool Co., and the Atlantic Refining Co.
